Vivekananda Kendra Assam Prant, with the help of Anandalaya's karyakartas ,has organised three Free medical camps during 5th,7th & 8th July'2016 . So far ,two camps were conducted at an interior place of Demow under Sivsagar district and one at Pathalibam,Moran under Dibrugarh district. Those areas are mostly populated by the tea garden communities. It was a part of health service activities of Anandalaya project of Vivekananda Kendra. Dr. Prema Sangoram, General Practitioner, from Mumbai has rendered her voluntary service for those camps. She is a 76 years old elderly lady having years of experience in this field.
More than 250 patients were benefited with this effort. Free medicines were also distributed to them after medical check up as required.
