Free Medical Checkup and medicine distribution camp -5th, 7th & 8th July'2016
Vivekananda Kendra Assam Prant, with the help of Anandalaya's karyakartas ,has organised three Free medical camps during 5th,7th & 8th July'2016 . So far ,two camps were conducted at an interior place of Demow under Sivsagar district and one at Pathalibam,Moran under Dibrugarh district. Those areas are mostly populated by the tea garden communities. It was a part of health service activities of Anandalaya project of Vivekananda Kendra. Dr. Prema Sangoram, General Practitioner, from Mumbai has rendered her voluntary service for those camps. She is a 76 years old elderly lady having years of experience in this field.
More than 250 patients were benefited with this effort. Free medicines were also distributed to them after medical check up as required.

Vivekananda Kendra Anandalaya conducted a personality development camp for the school going children of Tea garden community at Moran T.E. , located within Sivasagar district of Assam, from 1st to 3rd July'2016. Where more than 120 students participated with great enthusiasm.

Acharya Prashikshan Sibir.2016
Continuous rainfall in the upper Assam couldn't wash way the ACHARYA PRASHIKSHAN SIBIR of Anandalaya, which was held from 22nd April'2016 to 25th April'2016, at Vivekananda Kendra Pratisthan premises of Tinsukia. A total participants of 45 from different Tea garden areas of Upper Assam attended the camp.
ABOUT ANANDALAYA ACHARYA:
Anandalaya Archaryas are those college going youths of Tea Garden community who devote themselves to provide regular educational supports through Anandalaya classes to their fellow kids in a very vibrant and play way method , as a result not only reduces school drops out but also enhances the level of performance of the children in the schools.Besides academic support Anandalaya has been the centre of cultural and social rejuvenation for the respective communities .
