Guru Purnima is celebrated in Aanandalays of Assam.

Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari, Assam celebrated Guru Purnima on July 21, 2024. The event was organized by the Aanandalaya Prakalpa and held in six mandals. The celebration began with a prayer ceremony featuring Gayatri Mantra chanting and Arati. A cultural program showcased student talents through dance, patriotic songs, and drama on Guru Shisya tradition. The highlight was the traditional Guru Shishya Parampara ceremony, where students paid homage to their gurus and teachers. 364 people attended the event, a testament to the importance of the Guru Shisya tradition.
