Vivekananda Kendra's Aanandalaya Prakalpa, Assam Prant,
organized a 7-day Aanandalaya training camp for 94 new Acharyas and 15
organizing team members, a total of 109 participants from different parts of
Assam including Dibrugarh, Sibsagar, Jorhat, Charaideo, Golaghat, Tinsukia,
Dhemaji, and Lakhimpur districts. The camp aimed to equip the participants with
the knowledge and skills necessary to start Aanandalaya in their respective
localities.
The camp was a packed schedule of activities like Intellectual
lectures, group discussions, Abhyaas sessions, creativity sessions, Yoga class,
Bhajan sandhya and Practical Aanandalaya. Here's a brief overview of the
day-wise activities:
Day 1 (June 15): The inaugural session was addressed by Sri
Jayanta Sawra, Prakalpa Pramukh of Aanandalaya Prakalpa, who emphasized the
importance of education in the tea garden areas of Assam. The day also saw
talks on "Our Ideal Swami Vivekananda" by Alakagouri Joshi Didi and
"Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Vivekananda Kendra" by Biki Munda.
Day 2 (June 16): Participants learned about "Indian
Culture" from Dr. Jitaram Tanti, a doctor and social worker.
Day 3 (June 17): Presentations were made on
"Anandalaya-1" by Binoti Sawra Didi, Aanandalaya Prabandhika, Assam,
and "Anandalaya-2" by Ajay Chawra Dada, Aanandalaya Saha Prabandhik,
Assam.
Day 4 to Day 6 (June 18-20): The participants engaged in
discussions, group activities, and other programs that helped them develop
their skills and knowledge.
The camp concluded with a closing ceremony addressed by
Nolin Khemani Ji, Secretary of the Aanandalaya Bhavan Construction Committee.
The participants were awarded certificates of completion at the ceremony.
The Aanandalaya Acharya Training Camp was a grand success, with participants hailing from different parts of Assam. The camp aimed to inspire and empower the participants to run Aanandalaya in their villages. With its successful conclusion, we hope that the participants will go on to become effective grassroots leaders for their society.
